Ernest, a miniature donkey, wants to be taller, thinking that this will impress his friends. In the end he learns that what he is on the inside is what is important.

Ernest the donkey realizes that his friend Chester, the old white horse, has not followed him into the warm barn on a snowy Christmas Eve, but it takes the help of all the farm animals to get Chester safely inside.
