The ideal of providing for one's family via a home-based garden and small orchard has come full circle and these days, more and more people around the world are looking to do this, from the tiny urban apartment garden up to the traditional quarter acre sections many grew up with and still have today. Now, three generations after the last great war, when people had to make do with what they could grow, the youngest generation are wanting to learn the arts of growing, processing and preserving.
