Why a New Code? Over the past several years, a number of issues related to the current land use regulations have been identified, and the new code seeks to address these concerns. Additionally, the Citizen Roundtable process identified several dozen ideas on what should be included in an updated Code. Those aspects were kept closely in mind during development of the Code. The Intent Statements and Developement Guidelines ar intended to provide general defining characteritics for each zone distriect, while standards defined in a zone district shall be considered regulatory.
