General Note
At the young age of 77, Joe Cogan decided that it was high time he wrote down some of the stories that his dad, Jack, told his family and him throughout his life. Joe being the youngest, thought he should be the one to recount the stories since the other siblings had not heard the stories as many times as he had. Jack was as Irish as "Paddy's Pig" with a thick Irish brogue and a wry sense of humor that would wrinkle the skin on a listener's ears.
